Avinashi Temple - A Historical Temple
Its a traditional Lord shiva temple , mainly famous for its chariot. The temple was on the busy Erode – Coimbatore (NH); and with the latest bypass road, this is now less hectic with busy traffic. Nearest airport is Coimbatore; Nearest Railway station is Tiruppur. Visited the temple on my way to Coimbatore. the temple is about 3 to 4 kms from the Highway, in Avinashi Town. the Temple is well maintained, very quiet and divine.

Thirumoorthi Dam- Best Place for Vacation
Close by to Udumalaipet – this dam is on the western ghat, and with a temple (Amanalingeswarar temple). Nice place to spend with family. Nearby Sri Amanalingeswarar Temple is very famous temple also situated in bottom of Western Ghats. This dam is located down the thirumoorthy hills waterfalls. Many frequent buses are available from udumalpet.

Adiyogi Shiva - Excellent Place to be Fresh your Mind
Adiyogi siva is situated in velliangiri foot hills. There is enough parking in this area. You do the pooja infront of small temple. From here you can go the isha yoga center by walking, or on a bull cart.
